Elsa Barthas graduated as Bachelor in musicology at the Toulouse Conservatory. She started singing with Jane Berbie, and now studies at the High School of Music of Geneva with Gilles Cachemaille.
Elsa Barthas created various roles as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Lucila in La scala di seta (Rossini), Dorabella in CosÃ¬ fan tutte (Mozart), Ottavia in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi),. She sang concertante arias of Giulio Cesare (HÃ¤ndel), Juditha Triumphans (Vivaldi), Roméo et Juliette (Gounod), L’heure espagnole (Ravel) and Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss).
