Kishani Jayasinghe completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London. Her awards include Sri Lanka’s Young Musician of the Year and the WCM Silver Medal.

Her operatic repertory includes Pamina Die Zauberflöte, Sandrina La finta giardiniera, Fiordiligi Così fan tutte, Mimì La Bohème, Dido Dido and Aeneas, Leïla Les pêcheurs de perles and Soprano Actress A Night at the Chinese Opera. Her recital repertory includes works by Berg, Britten Strauss, Duparc, and Rachmaninov. She made her Royal Opera debut as Prilepa Pique Dame. She has since sung Ines Il trovatore, Giannetta L’elisir d’amore and Blumenmädchen Parsifal,
Papagena Die Zauberflöte and Barbarina Le nozze di Figaro, and has understudied several main parts for the ROH. Future performances include recitals at the Wigmore Hall, and ROH Covent Garden, and the La contessa di Almaviva Le nozze di Figaro for Garsington Opera.
