Yun-Jeong Lee studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with Turid Karlsen.
She won the 3rd Prize at the International Singing Competition – Competitione dell’Opera, Dresden, the 2nd Prize and Audience Award Maritim Singing Competition and the 1st Prize Elise Meyer Competition, Germany 2009. The same year she won the Grand Prix Maria Callas International Singing Competition in Athens, and she won this year’s Audience award Francesco Vinas International Singing Competition in Spain. Her repertory include arias from A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten), I Puritani (Bellini), Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Mozart), Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Offenbach), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini), Rigoletto (Verdi), Exsultate Jubilate (Mozart). Yun-Jeong Lee performed in Gala Concerts at Carnegie Hall, New York, and with the Berlin Philharmonic in Germany.
